Trend Forecast - Trapeze Shapes

Trapeze designs are cropping up all over designers Spring looks. The look is definitely more forgiving than sheath dresses and allows for those days when you may be feeling not quite so, *ahem* thin. Pair the swingy silhouette with stovepipe or slim pants for tops or platform shoes with dresses. Remember to balance the volume of the top half with a slimmer silhouette at the bottom. Large over large = "Is she pregnant?" or "wth?!?!"

There were too many great pieces in this post! Between the polka dot coat, the green mini dress, or the cirque top, I don't know which is my favorite ;) .
